If you are looking for great food and a wonderful dining experience then Longhorn in Brentwood is the place to be. I am in there a bunch because of my love for their great steaks and down home atmosphere. This isn’t like all of the other steak places out there that I have been in. The general manager, whose name is Dago Malendez is such a great host to every guest. They really treat you like family here. The atmosphere is great because it is very dimly lit and has a nice little coziness to it. I love their Perfect Margaritas. If that isn’t your taste they have just about everything that you need to make a great refreshing beverage weather it is a strawberry lemonade, blackberry tea, or just good old fashioned sweet tea they have it all. The chef is constantly trying new creations at Longhorn therefore it is always a pleasant surprise to see the specials. Because of their varied steak selections and my love of red meat, it’s always a pleasantly difficult task to choose which choice cut I am going to eat. They have the ever juicy fillet that is so tender you can cut it with a fork. Then there is the Prime Rib, the NY strip, the Rib-eye and last but not least the Top Sirloin and they are always cooked to perfection . If you are not craving steak for you palette that night, they also have a few great chicken dishes. My favorite, the Rocky Top chicken is topped with hickory smoked bacon, BBQ sauce, mixed cheeses, BBQ sauce, diced tomatoes, and BBQ sauce. Did I mention that it is smothered in BBQ sauce? If you are a seafood lover they, have a farm raised salmon that is marinated in soy sauce, bourbon, and brown sugar. Not only do they have the best choice cut steaks around town but you get to choose from many delicious sides such as; the good old sweet tater, baked tater, mashed taters, French fries, veggies and you get the picture, right! Come on out and treat you taste buds to a wonderful meal at Longhorn in Brentwood. You never know who you will run into. See ya there!
